DIY: Christmas Hearts by Nina Designs

ESP - Hoy os traigo un tutorial muy sencillo para hacer unos corazones de fieltro que quedan genial en el árbol de navidad o incluso para hacer una guirnalda decorativa (y también se pueden reutilizar para San Valentín!)

Ayer estuve todo el día en cama, resfriada y con fiebre, pero aún así me puse a preparar este paso a paso. Espero que os guste!

En breve compartiré otras ideas para decorar esta navidad! Ya no queda nada!

ENG - Today I want to share this tutorial on how to make felt hearts that can be used to decorate our xmas tree or even to make a cute bunting (and what's best, we can re-use them in Valentine's day!)

Yesterday I was all day in bed, with a cold so bad I could hardly move! But I still wanted to prepare this easy tutorial and I hope you like it!

Shortly I will be sharing some other xmas decoration ideas!

1 - Esto es lo que necesitaréis. Dos trozos de fieltro rojo. Hilo grueso (en este caso color rosa salmón). Aguja gruesa. Tijeras. Patrón de corazón en papel, o podéis hacerlos a mano. Alfileres. Relleno.

This is what you'll need. Two pieces of red felt. Thread. Needle. Scissors. Heart pattern. Pins. Stuffing.

2 - Juntad los dos trozos de fieltro y superponer el patrón de corazón sujetando con alfileres. Cortad la forma de corazón. (También podéis marcar el contorno con un rotulador si lo preferís).

Join both felt pieces and put heart pattern on top. Secure with pins. Cut heart shape. (If you prefer you can draw the heart shape with a marker).

3 - Comenzad a coser un pespunte igualmente distanciado y sin tirar demasiado del hilo.

Start sewing equally and make sure not to pull the thread too much.

4 - Cuando estáis llegando al final, rellenar el corazón y acabar de coser.

Lo único que faltaría ahora es coser un poco de hilo de donde vamos a colgarlo. Y volià!

When reaching the end, stuff the heart and continue to close the heart. Now all you have to do is sew some thread to the top so you can hang your heart. And voilà!

Xmas Inspiration!

ESP - La navidad está a la vuelta de la esquina, y eso me hace muy feliz, porque es mi época favorita del año! Desde que vivo en España disfruto del frío que acompaña estas fiestas, y me parece que son de verdad, al fin y al cabo comer frutos secos no cuadra mucho con un día soleado de playa, no?
Lo que sí echo de menos de mi país es el entusiasmo con que la gente las disfruta estas fechas, ya que todo el día se oyen petardos y fuegos artificiales
(como en Fallas en Valencia).
Creo que en las grandes ciudades este espíritu se está perdiendo un poco debido al capitalismo, pero no voy a negar que me encanta ir de tiendas al centro y disfrutar de los originales escaparates mientras elijo regalitos para mis seres queridos!
Cada año me decanto por un color temático a la hora de envolver regalos, decorar la casa, etc, pero este año aún no lo tengo muy claro, hay tantas opciones!
Os dejo algunas cositas que encontré en la tienda de Maison du Monde (ya sabéis que me encanta esta tienda, verdad?) y lo he combinado por colores.
En breve compartiré unos tutoriales de adornos navideños que hice el año pasado y fueron un éxito!

ENG - Christmas is just around the corner and that makes me oh so happy, since it's my favorite time of the year!
Since I live in Spain I truly enjoy the cold weather that comes along with this holiday, I feel like this is the real Xmas, because eating nuts and hot chocolate doesn't seem like a good idea in a sunny and hot day, right?
What I do miss from my country is the enthusiasm and true joy in the streets, on the 24th people are in the streets with fireworks (something like what happens in Fallas in Valencia).
I think maybe we are losing the true spirit of Christmas in big cities, probably due to capitalism, but I won't deny that I love going shopping in the city and love watching the beautiful xmas displays while looking for my loved ones presents!
Each year I choose a colour palette to decorate my house and presents, but this year with so many choices I can't decide myself!

Nina loves... las cunas blancas! / Nina loves...white cribs!

ESP - Me encantan las cunas y habitaciones donde predomina el color blanco!
Me obsesionan las cosas hermosas y estoy ansiosa por decorar una habitación de bebé y poder hacer todas las manualidades que he aprendido de tantos blogs, por eso aquí estoy otra vez pensando en qué cuna compraré cuando el momento lo requiera.
Desde luego ya sé lo que voy a pedir a Papá Noel este año ;)
Os acordáis de este post, en el que estaba convencida de querer la cuna blanca de Ikea??? Pues ya no estoy tan segura.
Después de verla en tienda, me pareció un poco pequeña, y como quiero que se convierta en el centro de la habitación, me parece que tengo que buscar algo más especial.
Pero con tantas opciones me estoy volviendo loca!! Me ayudáis a elegir??
Estilo vintage precioso o moderno y práctico?? (Si os fijáis en la mayoría de fotos, creo que me estoy decantando por simplemente precioso!)

ENG - I adore white cribs and baby rooms. I'm obssesed with all things beautiful and I'm dying to decorate one myself and try all the different things I learned thanks to so many wonderful blogs, so here I am again thinking of what crib I'll buy when the time is right.
Of course I already know what I'm asking Santa this year ;)
Remember this post, in which I was totally convinced I was going to buy Ikea's white crib??? (sorry, it was not translated back then)
Well, I'm not so sure anymore. After I saw it in the store, I though it was a bit too small, and to be honest, I'd like the crib to be the main character in the room, so I'm looking for something a bit more special.
But with so many choices I'm going mad!! Can you help me choose??
