Os imagináis la Navidad en verano? En mi caso, no solo me la puedo imaginar, sino que la he vivido durante años en mi infancia, y tengo que deciros que tiene su "aquel".
El buen tiempo incita a alargar las celebraciones en un ambiente más relajado... eso sí, no dejaba de ser raro tener una mesa llena de turrones, frutos secos y demás comidas calóricas estando a 35 grados!
Y ahora os pregunto... Os imagináis la Navidad en Julio??
Pues de eso va el post de hoy!
Si como yo, os ENCANTA la Navidad, entenderéis porqué mucha gente se resiste a esperar un año entero para volver a celebrarla. Y es precisamente en Julio cuando se celebra la "media Navidad", lo que inglés vendría a ser "Chrismas in July".
Inspirada por Paperless Post y sus tarjetas navideñas para hacer un post acerca de este tema, os dejo con varias ideas para celebrarlo.
Olvídate del típico muérdago y apuesta por las protagonistas del verano, palmeras, monsteras y demás vegetación tropical. Para el toque rojo, qué mejor que unas ricas cerezas o cualquier otro fruto rojo!

And July is the month to celebrate this "half Christmas".
I was inspired by Paperless Post Christmas Cards to do a Christmas in July post, so here are some of my ideas to celebrate it.
Forget about the mistletoe and decorate with tropical plants such as palm leaves, monsteras... And for the red touch, some cherries or any red fruit.

Another fruit that goes perfectly with this theme is Watermelon.
It's shape reminds us of a cute christmas tree, and the colours are also perfect.
Además, he cambiado la famosísima frase "Baby it's COLD outside" por la palabra HOT. Al menos donde vivo yo ahora, Julio es de los meses más calurosos del año!
Y como en Navidad no pueden faltar los regalos, qué mejor que decorarls con estampados veraniegos y divertidos.
